EMDR, Eating Disorders, Anxiety – An Update

You may have grown up watching ‘Leave it to Beaver’ and ‘My Three Kids’.
Existence then was a lot better. The kids in those series had no clue what fear was, and the adults didn’t either.
Before your time, maybe those shows were. Perhaps you recall shows like ‘The Cosby Show’ and ‘Family Ties’. The contrast is incredible between the two generations of TV, and they correctly reflect the degrees of fear felt by the youth of the period. You may find more details about this at Self emBody Therapy – EMDR, Eating Disorders, Anxiety-Trauma Therapy.
In our time, what is reflected?
Isn’t it a bit scary to consider that in the new season,’ Family Guy,’ our kids are like ‘Stewie Griffin’?
Seriously, our kids experience really specific problems that are distinct from every other age. While our kids grow at lightning rates, they are unable to keep up with the demands emotionally.
This is why we’re seeing children struggling from elevated levels of anxiety, tension, aggression and depression wave after wave.
The newest aid for these children is called anxiety counselling, a concept common to us, in reference to our children’s issues, but now our children will have their own professional mentor for anxiety therapy.
A strong mentor for anxiety treatment will save your children’s lives. In reality, even a poor coach will have useful skills for your kids to help them cope with school stresses, peers and instructors, as well as some distress related to current events.
Too many young adults are discussing issues years too early now. Abusive boyfriends/girlfriends, adolescent pregnancy or even parenthood, doubts regarding sexual identity, economic issues, worry about divorcing parents, just to list a couple, for starters.
Far too much, we don’t know that these are the things about children that trigger fear.
