Each year, on the first Friday and Saturday following Labour Day, you are invited to participate in an old fashioned fall fair at the Creston Recreation Centre.

Sept 7 & 8, 2007: Fair opens to seniors and handicapped at 1 pm, the general public at 2pm Friday, Sept 7, and 10 am Sept 8 till 7 pm when awards are presented. The Fair closes Sept 8, at 7 pm.


2007 Schedule of Events To Be Announced

  • Largest Pumpkin (by weight)

  • Orchid Division in Flower Section

  • Needlework Section Revised

  • Table Decorating Contest

  • Free (with paid admission) Horse Drawn
       Wagon Rides by Main Attraction
  • Scarecrow Contest SCARECROW CONTEST

    $200.00 to the Grand Prize Winner
    This contest is sponsored by the Creston Valley Agriculture Society
    and is open to non-profit groups or fund raising organizations.
    Please register your entries early, stating the name of your group, contact name
    and phone number and a brief description of the project that your are raising funds for.

    Entries must be registered by August 31, 2007

    Your Scarecrow must be ready for display and set up on Thursday, Sept 7th.

    Entry forms must be submitted by Monday, September 4, 2007. Booklets available in Creston by the end of May or early June at various businesses as well as Chamber of Commerce 1607 Canyon St, 9am-5pm weekdays.
